He identified the symbolic foundation laying ceremony of the mini military barrack and police Outpost in Chonku, the ongoing construction of the army and police security post, setting up of committee to resettle the displaced persons in Chonku and Assa chiefdoms among other things as some of the giant steps taken by the Governor to restore peace in crisis affected areas of the state.
The commissioner said, as an administration that understands the importance of development, the governor has initiated and is facilitating the ongoing 18km dualization of jauro-Yinu to Panti-napu city gate, 30km Wukari – Tsokundi road, 20 km marraraba Lacheke- Pantisawa road and the 84km mararraba Baissa – Abong road, all in different areas of the state.

To this end, the state government has ensured the procurement of four magnetic Resource Resonance Imaging (MRI) machines for the general hospitals in Takum, Bambur and Wukari respectively.
He noted that the machines require steady power supply as such, the state government is installing solar power roof farms at the various hospitals.
Adding that all samples collected for testing of Covid19 are now done in the state not Abuja or Vom in Plateau state as was the case before now.
It could be recalled that the Governor had taken proactive measures to ensure that Corona virus does not spread and that act has kept the number of cases minimal in the state.
