Jalingo LG Boss hails ALGON, WHO, NDDC over move to Revitalize Primary Health Care in Nigeria

Chairman of Jalingo Local Government Council, Alh Aminu Jauro has commended the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) in partnership with the World Health Organization (WHO) and Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) over the move to Revitalize
Nigeria’s Primary Health Care sector.
As part of the efforts, the three bodies have commenced a high-level technical workshop at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The workshop according to the trio seeks to revitalize and operationalize in line with the theme “Revitalization and Operationalization”
Participants that will be featured in the workshop include Ministers of Finance, Budget and Economic Planning, Health and Social Welfare, Hon Adebayo Olawole Edun, Hon Abubakar Atiku Bagudu and Prof. Mohammed Ali Pate respectively.
Also participating are Special Adviser to the President on Health: Dr. Salma Ibrahim Anas, Chairman, Nigeria Governors Forum: His Excellency, Governor AbulRahman Abdulrasaq (Kwara State), Managing Director/CEO, NDDC: Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, Senate Committee Chairs: Dr. Mrs. Ipalibo Banigo (Health) and Senator Ibrahim Lamido (Primary Healthcare).
Others include House Committee Chairman Hon. Amos Magaji Health, WHO Representative in Nigeria, Dr. Walter Kazadi Mulombo, Development Partners Group for Health Co-Chair, Mr. Dave McConalogue, GM External Relations and Sustainable Development, NLNG, Mr. Andy Odeh
