Troops of 6 Brigade Nigerian Army, have neutralized 3 Bandits and Seize Weapons and Ammunition in Successful Operation
According to the Army spoke man, the operation took place in Chibi village where the 6 Brigade troops, acting on actionable intelligence, conducted a precision strike against the criminal elements.
He said “the victory was attained on the 24th January, 2024 in an operation conducted by gallant troops of the 6 Brigade Nigerian Army deployed in Karim Lamido Local Government Area of Taraba State.
“The successful mission also resulted in the recovery of 2 AK-47 rifles, a motorcycle used by the criminals, and a cache of 40 rounds of 7.62 MM Special ammunition. This engagement demonstrated the troops’ unwavering commitment to maintaining peace and security in Taraba State”. He added
The Commander 6 Brigade, Brigadier Gen Kingsley Uwa commended the troops for their bravery and efficiency in executing the operation. He emphasized the military’s determination to rid the State of criminal elements and ensure the safety and well-being of the local population.
Recall that Gen. Kingsley Uwa has just assumed Command as the 3rd Commander of the 6 Brigade Jalingo. He has been redeployed from Operation Hadarin Daji, North-West Nigeria,
