Politics of religion must not play in Nasarawa State- Non Indigene Forum

Forum of Non indigenes based in Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State have called on the people of Karu not to use politics of religion in the forthcoming general elections for Governors and State House of Assembly, scheduled to hold on Saturday 18th March 2023 in Nasarawa State.
The group said that the non-indigenes in Karu will ensure fairness and accord His Excellency the Governor of Nasarawa State Alhaji Abdullahi A. Sule returned back to office in other to continue with his good works.
In a statement issued to the media and made available to Worldview Magazine, the Chairman of the forum, Amb. Nwokoma Messiah said that, religion should not play a role in the coming election, rather the people should focus on the achievements of Governor Sule led administration. Ambassador Nwokoma added that the Governor has done a lot for the state and the need has arisen for him to be re-elected so that he will conclude the good work that he is doing.
The statement sited the cordial relationship between the state and non-indigenes as a major motivation for its support for the governor. He also praised the governor for appointing non indigenes into his administration, stressing that the people will surely pay him back for identifying with every group in the state.
“Come this Saturday 18th March 2023, we the non-indigenes have resolved to vote for A A Sule for second term in office. This is our resolve and there is no going back.
The forum will mobilise our people and we will surely ensure that no stone will be left unturned in our course to re-elect him” the statement added.
Messiah said the people need to know that the governor, apart from been a kind hearted leader, is also friendly to Non indigenes in the state.
