Jalingo goes agog as Taraba Provost sends forth daughter

Encomium and jubilation enveloped the family of Dr. Yakubu Ali Garjila, Provost College of Agriculture, Science and Technology, Jalingo, on Sunday, 9th March, 2025
The family had set aside the special Sunday to send forth their daughter, Princess Permiya Yakubu ahead of her wedding, slated for 5th of April,2025
The event which drew high profile personalities from all works of life, took place at Gonvih Hotels & Resorts, Jalingo
Addressing guests at the occasion, Dr. Yakubu Gajira expressed gratitude to God for preserving his daughter up to the moment
He appreciated guests for turning up to share in their joy and prayed for God’s continuous guidance, protection and favors upon his daughter and her marriage.
“I never wanted her to stay far away with the fear that she would marry outside but as God will have it, she is marrying outside. I accept it as the Lord’s doing, remain focus, remain blessed, “he said.
The Chairman of the occasion, Speaker Taraba State House of Assembly, RT Honorable John Kizzito Bonzana who was represented by Moses Livinus Bonzana, congratulated Princess Permiya Yakubu for finding the love of her life and urged her to remain a good Ambassador even in her husband’s home.
Earlier in her remark, the chief celebrant, Princess Permiya, expressed gratitude to God for keeping her alive to witness such a blissful and unique moment in her life and family.
While appreciating her parents for their discipline, training and care over the years, Princess Permiya said “Honestly, I can’t really express my joy enough.
“I thank God for preserving me to witness this remarkable day of my life. I also thank my father and mother for their care, love and formation, they have really shaped me, may God continue to bless and keep them healthy,” she prayed.
She also appreciated her friends and well wishers for standing by her and also for coming to celebrate with her, praying that God Almighty should bless the singles with better life partners and the already married, with all it takes to make their marriages work.
