Alexander assures people of Lau Local Government transparent leadership

Ahead of the 2023 Taraba State Local Government elections slated for October 14th, an aspirant for the chairmanship position of Lau Local Government Area, Comr Alexander Sabastine has assured the people of the Local Government Area that he would provide a transparent and effective leadership style for the people of the area if elected at the poll.
Comr. Sabastine who hails from Kunini Ward of Lau Lau local Government Area, disclosed this while chatting with our reporter in Jalingo
He said he had already declared his intention to join the race under the platform of People’s Democratic Party PDD, after making a wide range of consultations with notable political stakeholders, religious and traditional leaders, town unions, youths and other relevant stakeholders of Lau Local Government Area who had given him their earnest blessings to join the race
“Am in touch with my people. They have known me and I know them. We all know where we are and am sure they will give me the mandate. My desire is to restore the lost glory of Lau local Government Area by providing visionary, purposeful and transparent leadership that will build a better future for the Local Government.
“I will restore unity of purpose in our diversity. I will also fast track developments in order to provide tangible dividends of democracy to the people”. He stated.
While harping on his agenda, Mr Sabastine, pledged that he would liaised with the necessary authorities to revitalise Agriculture, improve Healthcare system and provide adequate Security for the people of the area
He also pledged to do much on youths and women empowerment, Provision of portable drinking water, Sanitation and hygiene among many others, adding that he would ensure that he install people oriented government policy in the Council.
Comr Sabastine Alexander holds a Masters Degree in Educational Administration and Planning, from the National open University, B.Tech Hon. Geography FUTY Yola, Two Diploma Certificates and a Post Graduate Diploma in Education at A.B.U Zaria.
He also holds Diploma in Information Management Technology at FUTY Yola and bagged many professional certificates among which are Member, Nigeria Institute of Management, Member Teachers Registration Council Nigeria, and member Health Safety and environment.
