2023: Ikam Development Association endorses Thomas Gagumi for Reps in Taraba

A socio- Cultural group in the Southern Part of Taraba State known as Ikam Development Association, Takum LGA, has unanimously endorsed Hon. Thomas Gagumi, of the People’s Redemption Party (PRP) as its sole candidate for the Federal House of Representative seat of Takum, Donga Ussa and Yangtu Development Area for the 2023 general elections.
In a press statement signed by the President of the Association, Mr. Ira Ukwe Zorto and issued to journalists in Jalingo the state capital, the group extolled the leadership qualities of Hon. Thomas Magaji Gagumi, stating that he is a kind hearted person with exceptional qualities that had placed him far above other candidates in the zone who are vying for the same position.
They Maintained that Hon. Thomas Gagumi had variously facilitated employment of youths into Private and Public sectors both withing and outside the state.
“We want to assure our Candidate, Hon. Thomas Gagumi that we are solidly behind him. Ikam Development Association (IDA) will come out overwhelmingly and vote for him because he has variously demonstrated to the entire people of the constituency that he is a caring and problem solving leader.
“While he was in Public service at the Federal University Wukari, where he served as the Registrar of the University, Hon. Gagumi facilitated employment of numerous youths in our constituency aside so many others that he gave admissions at the University to read different courses. This is just to mention but a few
“He lives with us and of course, he knows the challenges and pains of our people. We are sure and are totally convinced that he will serve us better”. Part of the statement reads.
The group further stated that despite the socio-conomic and security challenges bedeviling the zone, Hon. Gagumi had braced all odds to make them proud as an excellent leader, at least within his capacity.
The group further described Gagumi as a true democrat who had given a sense of belonging to the people in various ways and called on the people of the constituency to shun all forms of sentiment and turn up en mass to vote for him in the 2023 general elections.
